A Cambridge-based theatre company devoted to presenting plays with a historical focus.
Historyonics Theatre Company was formed in 2010 and have performed several shows ranging from Shakespeare to new writing. Our next production is Nothing Great Is Easy, about the life of Captain Matthew Webb, the first person to swim the English Channel. This one-man show, written and performed by Chris Hudson and directed by Rosina Piovani, has so far been performed at the Corpus Playroom in Cambridge, Ely Library, the ADC Theatre in Cambridge, and for the U3A in Ely. The next performance will be at Thrive Cafe in Cambridge on Saturday 8 October.
