To mark the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death, Historyonics put on The Two Gentlemen of Verona, one of the Bard's rarely performed gems. Taking inspiration from the 400 year anniversary, this production attempted to bridge the gap between Shakespeare's time and our own by featuring a mash-up of Elizabethan and modern costumes, music and props, to create an anarchic and irreverent show. With the last night on April 23rd 2016 coming 400 years to the day after the author's death, this was the perfect celebration of our greatest playwright.
